We use two levels of encryption.
The Passwordless vault is encrypted using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), a symmetric algorithm used worldwide to protect sensitive data.
When you create a master password, a special key is automatically derived from it using the Password-Based Key Derivation Function 2 (PBKDF2) mechanism. Your storage is accessed using this key, which is encrypted using PBKDF2. The key is not known to anyone, including us.

There are no limitations, just a 14 days trial period.
Access to your account will be permanently lost. Without the master password, you will not be able to access the vault. The master password cannot be recovered by design for the matter of security. Remember it well or write down and keep in a safe place.
No, only you have access to your passwords and personal data. We adhere to the principle of non-disclosure and respect customer privacy.
As soon as you add a new password, Paroleum automatically synchronises it on all your devices. Synchronisation is enabled by default.
Yes, you can do it in the desktop app for PC or Mac. You will be able to create an encrypted file with all your data. Later you can restore your vault from there.
You can import passwords from browsers and other password managers. Passwords with all other data like documents and photos can be restored from a backup copy you've made earlier.
To import passwords from browsers you only have to press a button in the Passwordless app. To import from a password manager, you must export the data in CSV format first and then import this file in Passwordless.
